Request a Home Improvement or Exterior Addition

Planning to repaint your home, update landscaping, install a fence, or make any exterior changes?

Per Falcon Ridge covenants, all exterior improvements must be submitted for review before work begins. This helps keep our neighborhood consistent, attractive, and high in value.

Submit your request using the form below. Be sure to include details, estimated timelines, and any paint swatches or plans if applicable.

The HOA Board typically reviews requests within 7–10 business days.

No work may begin without written approval.

What kinds of projects require HOA approval?

Submit a request form for any of the following:

  • Repainting your home (even if it’s a similar color)
  • Installing or replacing a fence
  • Building a deck, patio, or pergola
  • Major landscaping projects (tree removal, retaining walls, etc.)
  • Roof or siding replacement
  • Installing a shed or outbuilding
  • Driveway extensions or sidewalk work
  • Adding exterior lighting, flagpoles, or large fixtures

Routine maintenance does not need approval. This includes:

  • Mowing your lawn
  • Replacing dead shrubs with the same type
  • Basic garden planting (flowers, mulch, edging)
  • Power washing your home
  • Replacing light fixtures with similar styles

If you’re ever unsure, submit the form or contact the board first.

The covenants ensure that all exterior changes are visually consistent with the neighborhood’s overall design. This helps:

  • Maintain high property values
  • Prevent clashing styles or materials
  • Keep Falcon Ridge attractive and cohesive

Use the Improvement Request Form on the Request Portal page. Include:

  • A clear description of your project
  • Estimated start and end dates
  • Paint swatches, drawings, or product links (if applicable)
  • Photos of the area, if helpful

Expect a response within 7–10 business days. We may contact you for clarification or more info.

No. Starting work without HOA approval is a covenant violation and may require you to stop or reverse the changes.

You could receive a notice of non-compliance. In some cases, the HOA may require you to remove or alter the change at your expense.
